Jimmer Fredette's press conference at new downtown Provo Event Center   On September 21, 2011, a famous NBA player and local Provo celebrity walked through the doors of the new Provo Event Center, the Rock Canyon Event Center. That’s right, thee Jimmer Fredette stepped onto our now “holy grounds” at our Provo Event Center to attend the Jimmer’s All-Stars pre-game press conference with 14 other national All-Stars and top draft picks of the season. The night consisted of a Q and A session with local news reporters, fans and sponsors. Appetizers were enjoyed throughout the night and following the press conference was a meet and greet where many of the players signed memorabilia and took photos with fans. It was a successful event overall and we feel it’s safe to say our Provo Event Center got the Jimmer stamp of approval. From the smile on his handsome million dollar face I think he enjoyed the Rock Canyon Event Center and all it had to offer and would recommend it to anyone.
